Jordan Roter
October 17 - 23, 2026
Provence, France

What happens when you stop trying to write the thing you think you’re supposed to write—and start writing the thing you actually want to write?
This week in Provence is part writing retreat, part creative reset, part adult summer camp (with much better food). Whether you’re working on a novel, personal essay, memoir, TV pilot, screenplay—or a letter you’ve been meaning to write—you’ll experiment with form as a way into voice, story, and momentum.
Through prompts, guided exercises, and collaborative workshopping, we’ll explore how shifting mediums can unlock your work in surprising ways. You’ll write, share, laugh, and probably make a few new best friends.
Come with an idea, a work-in-progress, or just an open mind and a willingness to create.
Leave with a real start—and the confidence to keep going.
About Jordan Roter
JORDAN ROTER is a novelist, screenwriter, and TV writer/producer known for telling funny, relatable stories about complicated women. She is the author of three novels, including Moms Like Us (Little A, 2025), which she is currently adapting for television with MGM. She has developed TV projects for ABC, CBS, NBC, and The CW, and features for Paramount and Netflix.
Her sweet spot is adaptation—of books, essays, and international formats into film and television. With a background in sketch and improv comedy, Jordan approaches storytelling as a collaboration, guided by the mantra: “Yes, and,” while helping writers find their voice and shape stories that feel honest, alive—and entirely their own.
