A Writing Retreat
with Sarah Penner
Sept 19-25, 2027
Bordeaux, France
IGNITE THE SPARK
Fiction writers: join us for a week-long retreat at a Gothic Revival château in the heart of Bordeaux, France.
Led by New York Times bestselling author Sarah Penner, this intimate retreat is designed to help you gain clarity, momentum, and renewed excitement for your novel.
Each morning, our small group of ten writers will gather for three hours of writing, workshop, and discussion focused on both the craft and business of fiction writing. Through guided exercises and personalized feedback, you’ll strengthen character arcs, sharpen story structure, deepen emotional resonance, and learn the art of effective pacing and micro-tension.
Whether you’re drafting a novel or revising one, you’ll leave with greater confidence in your project, a clearer path forward, and tangible progress on the page.
Each participant will also receive a private one-hour consultation with Sarah to discuss their manuscript, publishing goals, and next steps.
