About Nina
DR. NINA SAVELLE-ROCKLIN is a psychoanalyst and author who has written multiple mainstream and scholarly books, including The Binge Cure: 7 Steps to Outsmart Emotional Eating, Beyond Binge Eating, The Binge Cure Journal, Food for Thought: Perspectives on Eating Disorders, and co-edited Beyond the Primal Addiction, Food Matters: A Biopsychosocial Approach, and Eyes, Mind and Vision. She also contributed chapters to four academic volumes, including work used at Harvard Medical School, and written over 50 articles for national and international publications.
Dr. Nina knows firsthand what it means to have a story that needs to be told. After struggling with eating disorders for 15 years, she discovered that food was never the problem, it was a response to something deeper. That insight became the foundation of her life’s work, her clinical practice, and her books.
